The Gobi desert is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Mongolia. You will enjoy extremely remote landscapes, a complete lack of cell phone coverage and humans for miles, apart from some nomadic families. The highest part of the Gobi is 1580m and the entire area covers 1.2 million km, a true enduro paradise. A combination of big sand hills and rocky mountains with old canyons, as well as wide forests consisting of small saxaul trees makes for fantastic scenery. The Gobi is the fifth biggest desert in the world and is home to a wide range of animals including Bactrian camels, foxes, hares and horses. The first dinosaur fossil eggs were found at the red “Flaming Cliffs” of Bayanzag, where you will probably experience one of the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen, as you roll on your throttle through the ‘Flaming Cliffs of Gobi’, all in all an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience.
