Have you had wild dreams about freely roaming the magnificent Himalayan landscapes on two wheels? Can you feel the twisting mountain roads and hear the thunder of your trusty 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycle under you, then this motorcycle tour in the Indian Himalayas is just for you!
From New Delhi we embark on the greatest adventure, a ride beyond your dreams into the abundant alpine forests of the beautiful “Valley of the Gods” known as Kullu Valley surrounded by the awe-inspiring snowcapped Himalayas. From here the journey only ascends in height and levels of spectacularity around every twist and turn.
Those Enfields will rumble all the way up to Zanskar and Ladakh, “The land of high [mountain] passes”. We will meet nomads in Changthang, “Valley of the Tibetan Nomads” and ride amongst their yak, goats and sheep on the summer pastures. Allow the crystal clear high altitude lakes of Tso Moriri and Tso Kar on the Indo-Tibet border to enrapture every bit of you.
Add several of the most breathtaking and highest mountain passes: the Rohtang La at 3978m, Baralacha La at 4830m, Lachalung La at 5060m, and the highest motorable road/pass in the world, Khardung La at 5602m to the intoxicating mix and you have yourself a once in a lifetime adventure with stunning panoramic views, an authentic cultural immersion and nonstop incredible fun, the kind you only get when you are willing to stretch yourself a little!!!
